Most makes of DVD player are locked to play in the region you are in. If you have not got a multiregion player, it will not play DVDs coded for any other region of the world, except yours. It's as simple as that
Which is a bit unfair. When you get a DVD player and want the option to buy and play a DVD from abroad that might be an early release of something still in the cinema where you are, you wont be able to play it.
That's because the manufacturers of most players put locks on most machines internally to allow DVDs from your region only to play on them. But you might be surprised to learn that most can be made region free, so you can play DVDs from anywhere in the known universe.
But only if you know how. Engineers know… now you can too. We are offering you the technical information you require to unlock your machine for a tiny sum.Just £4.99 ($9.99/€6.99EUR).
And it is a worldwide service covering all regions. Not much to upgrade your DVD player to play any DVD you throw at it.
Think of it as the equivalent of buying us a drink for our trouble in finding the solution for you. You certainly will NOT be paying the extortionate amount to get someone to fiddle with the internal workings.
No extortionate postage fee, no ebooks where you may or may not get the information you need for your particular device…. We will send you the information geared for YOUR particular machine on an email.
IMPORTANT: All you have to do, BEFORE you buy, is ask us what the make and model of your machine is by email and we will tell you whether it can be unlocked, and it will most likely will. Search no more, forget the headaches, we do all the work for you..
Then you just pay and we send the magic code/software and instructions and we are away.
The code you will receive is a secret combination that is usually easy to input, known by the engineers, using a simple remote that will allow your DVD player to be region free.
Some unlock methods require you to burn a CD with a firmware update that we can provide or use of other software that is provided. But mostly, you can do it by remote.
We should stress that you use the code at your own risk. But in our experience there is rarely a problem!
If you are unsure, check the comments from satisfied customers in feedback. You will find a hundreds of people who are more than delighted with the service.
It is important that if there is a problem with the instructions that you communicate that with us. That is only reasonable. Because our aim is to ensure you are satisfied. Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions.
The reason the codes or zone locks are imposed is that the major companies want to control the release of DVDs in different countries so that people will go to watch them in theatres.
For instance, you could get a host of movies like Donnie Darko and Jackass on DVD in the States months before they ever appeared in the cinemas in Europe.
The region hack allows you to buy DVDs cheaper anywhere in the world if you want to without worrying whether your player can cope.
The list of manufacturers whose DVDs can be altered in this way is huge and range from the big names like Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, LG, Thomson, Sharp, Toshiba and Hitachi to those from the likes of Goodmans, Sanyo, Cyberhome, LiteOn, Mustek, Daewoo, Sumvision, Bush, Ellion and Alba. Of course this is just a selection of the manufacturers. A fuller list (by no means exhaustive) is to the left.
Note: We can even unlock units by Panasonic and Sony models that other traders insist you need chipped and require an internal modification. Wrong! We offer you the ability to do it yourself.
IT’S AS SIMPLE AS THAT… YOUR CODE OR SOFTWARE & INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE EMAILED WITHIN 48 HRS OF CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT. ALL THE VERY BEST!!
